Henry started shooting music videos in his spare time whilst working as an animation producer for Partizan Lab. An unofficial video for a friend of a friend led to his first commission for Example’s ‘You Can’t Rap’, on Mike Skinner’s label The Beats. Following this, Henry was quickly commissioned for the next Example video, and the debut single from Scouting For Girls, ‘She’s So Lovely’, which helped to propel the track to the UK top ten. Henry continues to work at Partizan’s London office whilst developing his career as a director. He was featured in Shots magazine in January 2008 as a new director to watch. Shots said: “Scholfield’s videos are delivered with a refreshing energy combined with great ideas... He revels in the traditional craft of making something work though a combination of shrewd art-direction, in camera sleight-of-hand and, most importantly, winning performances.” His latest work, 2 breakout videos for rising new UK artist Professor Green 'Need you Tonight' and 'Just Be Good to Green' featuring Lily Allen, have been a smashes in the UK airplay charts, the former hitting the no 1 spot. |
