Jim Owen

Jim’s films have screened at Sundance (Can We Talk? won an Honorable Mention in Short Filmmaking in 2010), SXSW and the BFI’s London Comedy Film Festival, among many others. His work has been featured by Wholphin, Short Of The Week and Vice. In 2015, he directed What’s Funny About the Indyref? and Sketchland for BBC Comedy and his web series, Panic Stations, featured Ingrid Oliver, Alistair Green and Rachel Stubbings and was championed by Alice Jones at The Independent, and Sarah Millican. He’s made commercials for brands including Subway, The Big Issue, Huawei, Cheerios, McVities and Philips.
