Saam spent much of 2009 filming portraits of people including designers Brian Lichtenberg, Nova Dando and Cassette Playa, artists such as Matthew Stone, Wolfgang Tilmans, and Tracey Emin and musicians such as Klaxons, The Big Pink, Soulwax, The Drums, Lightspeed Champion, and Florence and The Machine, dancing with abandon to their favourite song. On Feb 5th 2010, Partizan Darkroom presented a unique night in London's magnificent Wilkinson Gallery where Saam mixed these VideoPortraits into an AV dance set, live. The evening also included an unforgettable set from Matthew Stone and a unique synth-infused set from Simian Mobile Disco. Saam also toured VideoPortraits with Flux in the US in autumn 2009 and will be playing more dates over 2010.
