Nima Nourizadeh graduated from Central St. Martins College of Art & Design with a BA Hons in Fine Art Film & Video in 1999. Shortly after leaving college, Nima worked on various low budget videos before deciding with two of his friends to set up the directing collective ‘The Imaginary Tennis Club’. They shot videos for the likes of ‘Junior Senior’, ‘Dizzee Rascal’, and ‘Pink Grease’. But through a natural need to express their own individuality they discontinued their partnership in the spring of 2005.

With a passion for music, Nima is in much demand as a solo promos director, and has delivered videos for the likes of Lily Allen, Flight of the Conchords, Santogold, Hot Chip, Chromeo and Mark Ronson. Nima's Jim Noir video ('My Patch') was dubbed by the NME as the 'possibly the greatest music video of all time'.

Nima went on to make his breakthrough video for Hot Chip's 'Over and Over' in 2005, a hilarious tongue-in-cheek deconstruction of the pop promo-making process, which caught the attention of the media and cult-like following from fans. His videos for Lily Allen (LDN & Littlest Things) established Nima as
a ground breaking talent to reckon with. He went on to deliver the stunning, Roger Rabbit homaging video for Mark Ronson's hit single 'Oh My God', featuring an animated Lily Allen, designed by cult Parisian illustrator Fafi.

Nima's video for Santogold was nominated for a Best Video gong at the MTV European Awards 2008 and Nima went on to win the Best Director prize at the 2008 UK Music Video Awards.
