Partizan Turns It Loose at the Edinburgh Film Festival

Turn It Loose, the new film from Partizan films and Alastair Siddon's feature debut, had its UK premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on Friday. You can find more information on the festival screenings here or go to the official website www.turnitloosemovie.com.
We are thrilled to report that Turn It Loose had a brilliant reception at the festival, with both screenings selling out early. The film has also had some great reviews, including an interview with Alastair on the Observer Film Weekly Podcast, and also from Uncut.co.uk, EyeForFilm.co.uk, FirstShowing.net, The Observer, Indiewire and on MTV.com and Empire.
Another Partizan director, Dominic Murphy, also has a film at the Festival. Dom's first feature film, White Lightnin', also screened on Friday, and you can find more info here.

Partizan Cannes Wins

Commercials
Michael Gracey's T-mobile spot, Dance, collected three Lions this weekend at Cannes. The film won a Gold Film Lion in the commercial public services category, a Bronze for Best Use of Music and a Bronze Titanium & Integrated Lion. Nima's Adidas film, House Party, collected second place at the shots/cfp-e young directors award, and both Laurie Thinot and Keith Loutit were included in the Saatchi's New Director Showcase. Congrats to all our winners.

News from the Clios: Three Golds for Partizan

Congratulations to Michael Gracey and to Traktor, who each struck gold at the Clios last week. Michael Gracey's first T-Mobile campaign, Dance, won two golds for Direction and Telecommunications. Meanwhile Traktor also collected a gold for their Virgin Atlantic film.

London Sings Along with Michael Gracey and T-Mobile

First there was Dance, the campaign that saw hundreds of people dancing in London's Liverpool St Station. But things got a little bit bigger and a little bit louder recently when thousands of people took to Trafalgar Square to sing karaoke classics together in the evening sunshine.
The new event, Sing-along, like Dance, was directed by Michael Gracey, produced by Partizan and created by Saatchi & Saatchi. The film premiered on ITV just 48 hours after the shoot, and you can see some of the different verisons now on T-Mobile's YouTube channel or on Michael's page.

Michel Gondry's new film, L'Epine dans le Coeur, was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. The film is a very personal documentary made by Michel with his family. Alastair Siddons Turns It Loose

Alastair Siddons has been busy shooting a feature documentary about breakdancing. The shoot took him all over the world, from Soweto to the backstreets of Senegal, Japan, Algeria, America, France and Brazil. We have just posted the trailer online. Click the link to Turn It Loose. The film is showing at The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival this weekend and Alastair Siddons will be attending, along with two of the breakdancers featured in the film, Lilou and Roxrite.
