Partizan Management is thrilled to announce that Matthias Hoene will direct a new movie for Fox called Capsule that's based on his original idea. Capsule is a sci-fi spec by Ian Shorr with producing juggernaut Hutch Parker (The Wolverine) and John Zaozirny attached to produce. The story centers on a young man whose life is turned upside down when he mysteriously begins to receive metallic capsules containing messages from his future self. Our future selves can't wait to see it!

Dog Pound tells the story of three new juvenile inmates - Butch, Davis and Angel - newly arrived at one of America's most dangerous detention centres. It is a visceral, dynamic, powerful insight into the US youth justice system, and you can watch it now on iTunes!

In 'Shunpo', Steven Briand has found an exciting way to marry his unique brand of visual camera trickery with his passion for modern dance choreography. In the film we see a bewildered, excited woman smashing through different environments: moving seamlessly from her stuffy office, to a Parisian rooftop, and finally to the serenity of the Turkish salt flats. It is dance that allows her to steady herself, but it is the power of editing that sends her flying between these impossibly varied locations. The film is a tantalising, mesmerising test of the boundary between cinema and dance.

Three days after Hurricane Sandy hit the eastern seaboard, Poppy de Villeneuve received a voicemail from a friend living in New York's Rockaway Beach. She was okay, but her community was completely devastated. Poppy and her partner Alex Braverman made their way to Rockaway, documenting the under-reported aftermath. Their haunting film certainly helped awareness, going viral on Twitter and Facebook with over 180k views in a few days, as well as highlighting the powerful good that storytelling can accomplish in a time of crisis.

Written and directed by recently-signed Russ Lamoureux, 'Le Grand Tour' is a short 16mm François Truffaut-inspired bicycle-theft caper set in Brooklyn. Budnitz, the beskpoke bicycle company behind the film, approached Russ to create a series of original and captivating films that would resonate with their audience, and it sure has, with Russ hard at work on the next instalment. 'Despertar' (Awakening) is a short film by Maria Cifuentes, a young Spanish director now based in Paris, that explores the figurative depths of one woman's dream. It explores the origins and elements of life through an evolving series of imaginary landscapes, projected on the dreamer's body, and follows her inner awakening through a struggle between the opposing forces of destruction and rebirth. A young Louis meticulously chronicles every single moment of his relationship with Salome on video, collecting and cataloguing the rise and fall of their affair on a stack of old DV tapes in his apartment. These recordings blur the line between past and present, nostalgia and reality — all through another excellent short film from one of our young directors, Matthieu Cacheux. The first trailer for 'Cockneys vs Zombies', the carnage-y new feature directed by Matthias Hoene is out, and while it's certainly not for the squeamish, it'll be a real treat for all you zombie connoisseurs out there.

Few indie films have been as talked about and anticipated at Sundance and Cannes as ‘Beasts of the Southern Wild’. Our own Ray Tintori shot the mesmerising special effects sequences and lead the second unit, filming the mythical prehistoric creatures with nothing but a shoestring budget and a bit of cinematic magic. The film is now playing in select cities across America.

We're very excited to show you ‘8’, a short film by our very talented young director Aćim Vasić in Paris. Is it serious? Is it funny? A bit of both? How about ten minutes of superb storytelling from a director you'll want to keep your eye on.

While his previous whereabouts remain a mystery, he's been spotted around LA — sipping tropical drinks, driving William Fichtner nuts.
