The folks at Honda are no strangers to pushing the limits of their craft to create something remarkable and visually striking, and hey, neither are we. Michael Geoghegan's interactive 360º film Off the Grid does just that, exploring the edges of the earth while bringing you along for the ride.
Whether it's jumping off a 700-foot precipice into the Colorado River, climbing through ice caves in the Matanuska Glacier, or wandering through the Neon Boneyard in Vegas, you get to control and experience the whole thing without leaving your browser window. Which is good, considering that these aren't exactly the most accessible places on the planet.
Especially the underwater field of life-sized statues just outside of Cancún, which will be totally consumed by the sea in a few months. So really, this is the only way you'll ever be able to see it. How's that for going off the grid?
